Colombia and Switzerland talk trade, investment and cooperation

handsThe Foreign Affairs Ministers of Colombia and Switzerland, Maria Angela Holguin and Didier Burkhalter, respectively, led an expanded meeting of the delegations of both countries, where they discussed issues of trade, investment and cooperation. The delegations meeting was preceded by a dialogue between the Minister Holguín and President Burkhalter, who is also Vice President of the Federal Council of the European country.

This first meeting between Minister Holguin with her Swiss counterpart aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Colombia and Switzerland and diversify the agenda.

Also during the conversation the Minister highlighted the support Colombia has received from this European country in order to become a member to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
